The years passed and the baton of the Miraglia estate passed to his son Rosario and then to his grandson Roberto, the current founder of the farm of the same name.
Each generation has contributed to bringing innovation while maintaining a visceral bond with tradition.
The ancient secrets of cold pressing are now combined with modern technologies and cutting-edge machinery, keeping intact the purity of the extra virgin olive oil and the unique taste of the “Nocellara Etnea cultivar”, a cultivation technique used since ancient times.
It is not just the process that makes this oil unique. It is the land: that black volcanic soil that nourishes the roots, making the extra virgin olive oil rich in antioxidants and with an unrepeatable flavor. With time, things change and with it, new perspectives arise.
“Our land can still give us much more” said Roberto with his gaze turned to Etna; “the olive trees have taught us patience and dedication, but our landscape can be enriched.”
It was then that the idea was born, next to the centuries-old olive trees, they would plant pistachio trees. Those robust plants, capable of thriving in the arid climate and lava soils, would complete the story of their land. The new way of telling the historic tradition is based on the meeting of two symbols of our island, a perfect combination of the green gold of the olive trees and that of pistachios.

Today, those who visit the estate can walk among centuries-old olive trees and young pistachio plants, listening to stories of a proud past and a future full of promise.
The oil and pistachios are the result of a beloved land, of hands that work with passion and of a family that has been able to transform its roots into wings.
